Media Placement

To make change you must first capture people’s attention. Visibility in consumer media helps our clients rise up to the surface and prime their audiences for further education and engagement. But for our clients’ ambitious social goals, just getting someone’s name spelled right in ink or pixels doesn’t cut it. Our focus on media placement that illuminates and motivates makes us people who think “what you know” is still more important than “who you know.”

Douglas Gould and Company uses its knowledge of current issues in combination with a keen understanding of the media to secure high-level local, national and international media placements for our clients. We develop detailed plans with specific media targets, identify the best time to present the issue to reporters and clarify how messages should be positioned to meet the specific interests of each journalist. Then we do the leg work to execute this plan, often making use of the many contacts we have developed through the years. Our recent media placement work has been conducted for a range of nonprofit and public interest organizations.
