Strategic Communications Campaigns
Douglas Gould and Co. has a core commitment to
shaping all communications activities around an identifiable goal.
This is what distinguishes our work from that of other firms.
We build a client's communications campaign around proactive steps
that provide opportunities for an organization to promote its
message. While many of our clients have communications departments,
in-house staff is often fully occupied with ongoing work. As necessary,
we are capable of acting as a client’s "out-sourced"
communications department, reporting in for direction and relieving
internal staff from day-to-day operations of the campaign. Our
services include writing press materials, pitching story ideas
and spokespeople to reporters, planning events and tracking media
coverage.
Depending on the goals and targets for the campaign,
we employ a wide range of activities and tools, including paid
advertising, press releases, speeches, op-eds, press briefings,
broadcast interviews, and much more. Douglas Gould and Co. keeps
close watch on the social and political climates, finding and
seizing appropriate opportunities to further campaign objectives.
Examples of major media campaigns Douglas Gould and Co. recently conducted include:

Foundation, inserting the voices of select Ford grantees into
public discussions of theology, culture and society as part of
