Douglas Gould and Co. uses its knowledge of current
issues in combination with a keen understanding of the media to
secure top-notch local, national and international media coverage
for our clients. We develop detailed plans that target specific
media, identify the best time to present the issue to reporters
and clarify how messages should be positioned to meet the specific
interests of each journalist. We then do the leg work to execute
this plan, often making use of the many contacts we have developed
through the years.
Results have included feature stories in The
Los Angeles Times, Time magazine and National Public
Radio for the Ford Foundation’s Religion
and Culture project, a front-page story in The New York
Times for the Campaign
for Fiscal Equity, and opinion pieces bylined by our clients
in important newspapers such as The Christian Science Monitor,
