Media Placement
Douglas Gould and Company uses its knowledge of current
issues in combination with a keen understanding of the media to
secure top-notch local, national and international media coverage
for our clients. We develop detailed plans with specific media targets, identify the best time to present the issue to reporters
and clarify how messages should be positioned to meet the specific
interests of each journalist. We then do the leg work to execute
this plan, often making use of the many contacts we have developed
through the years.

The Guidance Center partners with Mount Vernon High School to bring students the College and Careers Program, in hopes of raising the graduation rate and sending graduates on to college or successful careers. This program was featured in the Journal News and on WCBS-TV.

The National Parks of New York Harbor Conservancy champions the 22 national parks and unique sites that ring the harbor, and hosts a series of affordable ranger-led, boat, and self-guided tours. Placements for their programs include 1010WINS
