Branding is the promise an organization makes to the world. Douglas Gould and Company advises its clients on how to be intentional about the brand meaning in both its look and its feel.
We help develop user-friendly and action-oriented messaging that is true and believable, persuading with both facts
and emotions.
Branding entails clarifying core values and ideas. We work with staff and board members to develop clear messages and a compelling visual images reflecting these core values. Finally, we leave clients with guidelines on how to best utilize these assets by framing them correctly and ensuring they maintain a solid association to the organization.
Recent examples

The Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Fund focuses on increasing access and opportunity by supporting initiatives and programs that fire imagination,
illuminate minds and strengthen community. This logo was developed working with the Fund on branding and messages.

Episcopal Relief & Development (ERD) provides emergency assistance in times of disaster; rebuilds devastated communities and offers long-term program development solutions to fight poverty. We worked with ERD on a branding strategy including the development of a new graphic identity.

Arts for Academic Achievement (AAA) works to increase student academic achievement and improve teacher practice by making arts-based and arts-integrated learning essential to classroom instruction through collaborations with artists and community arts organizations. We created a brand identity for AAA that becomes recognizable to all audiences and provides a visual element that relates to their mission.

FairMedicare (for the Center for Medicare Advocacy) FairMedicare.org provides a consumer-oriented platform to cultivate the relationships it has with Medicare beneficiaries and their caregivers. We developed the logo for FairMedicare, as well as the Web site.
