Chantal Escobar, Graphic Designer:
Chantal is an artist at heart. She is also one of the happiest and most positive people you will meet. She grew up in the "mountains" of North Jersey, where you can play golf, ski, and...not much else.
But Chantal discovered the arts, and there she uncovered her passion. While taking courses at F.I.T. in New York, she realized graphic design was her calling and found her canvas.
Viewing the world through a designer's eye, she is constantly critiquing the ads she sees in magazines and on billboards, creating a personal file of what works and what doesn't. She challenges herself to improve upon or learn from each one. Tracking the popular magazines used in the advertising world keeps her inspired and informed on how other designers are responding to trends.
Chantal honed her craft at the Art Institute of Philadelphia and graduated with a major in graphic design. After graduation she worked for a large advertising firm and freelanced, designing logos and marketing materials for a variety of people and businesses. Then, most importantly, she became a mother to her beautiful son, Elias.
Chantal joined Douglas Gould and Company in 2008 to continue to realize her dreams of being in New York and working as a designer who can bring her art to the nonprofit world. She is the lead designer on most of our Web site, advertising and branding projects.
