Senior Associate for New Media:
Janan provides our clients with the online tools they need to create successful advocacy and communications campaigns.  Janan has been involved with all of our Web-based work including developing social networking strategies, new Web site architectures, informing new designs, developing new content, researching and creating Web site marketing recommendations and training client's staff in writing for and managing Web sites. Some recent projects include working with Americans for UNFPA on their new online community Lifelines; the Worldwide Orphans Foundation on a new organizational Web site; the Center for Medicare Advocacy on developing their advocacy sitelet www.fairmedicare.org, which won the WWW Health Awards Merit award in 2005; the Westchester Board of Legislators on a new Web site and launch strategy; she also worked with the Citizen's Committee for Children on the development of their online database Keeping Track Online.

She has also developed online engagement strategy recommendations for a variety of our clients including the National Center for Children in Poverty and Living Cities.

Before coming to Douglas Gould + Co, Janan was the head of design and technology for an Internet start-up as well as the executive director of two nonprofit arts organizations.
