Douglas Gould, President:
Doug founded his firm in 1990. With more than 25 years experience in strategic communications, Doug is the firm's senior strategist, involved in planning and overseeing all accounts. His practice concentrates on opinion and media research, message development, training, and the timely application of problem-solving and crisis management strategies. The firm has served 113 public interest organizations and foundations that are engaged in social change and public policy reform.
In addition to his direct work with clients, Doug authored Talking Population and Talking about Learning Disabilities, compendiums of opinion research and advice on communicating effectively. He also wrote A Funders Guide to Successful Media Investments, which was widely distributed in the U.S. foundation community. Prior to 1988, Doug served as Vice President for Communications at Planned Parenthood Federation of America and Associate Executive Director of Planned Parenthood in New York City.
He currently serves on the boards of the Wellesley Centers for Women and the Westchester Children’s Association.
